Vanessa Vanden Bos, LMT
Physical Therapy Aide
Licensed Massage Therapist
At an early age I knew that I wanted to be a massage therapist. I graduated from Ashmead college of Massage and became licensed in 2005. In addition to all of the information I learned about the human body, twice weekly massages were part of the curriculum, and I learned that I enjoy treating people through Trigger Point Therapy and Deep Tissue. I love finding those very little specific sites that in most body's can be the source of their pain. But I also enjoy helping people feel good through relaxing Swedish massage. I love massage and I've always wanted to work in a clinical/medical setting. Medical/therapeutic massage keeps my mind sharp with anatomy and problem solving. I'm excited I now have a job with HRPT that I know I will stick with and be proud of!
In addition to working with HRPT I have my own massage practice in downtown Hood River. Aside from work, my boyfriend our dog and I try to get outside and do something fun every weekend. We enjoy running the Mosier Tunnel Trail, hiking Dog Mountain, floating the Deshutes river, camping and going to the Oregon Beach. |
